Here at Desert Oasis Recovery we offer a Monitored Treatment program for substance addiction for working professionals. The treatment is rigorous. Professional enrolled in our alcohol and drug treatment program are closely monitored by our addiction counselors, drug screened on a random basis, and risk losing their license permanently if they relapse. The most difficult thing for most people including professional is coming out of denial and admitting you have a problem. Once the step of overcoming denial has been achieved the road to recovery is the next step. The basics of our Monitored Drug and Alcohol Rehab Treatment Program is as follows:
- Monitored Drug and Alcohol Rehab Treatment services are established with Desert Oasis Recovery.
- The client completes and initial in-patient detoxification
- The professional signs a confidential contract with the state sponsored professional recovery program.
- The contract requires that the client undergo what ever the licensing board deems necessary of monitoring and random, computer-generated drug screens 3 to 10 times a month, depending on the severity of the client's addiction and his/her history of compliance.
- Each day the professional must call an 800 number, enter a code, and is told whether or not and where he or she must go give a urine sample.
- Each week the professional is required to attend weekly group therapy meetings conducted by our trained substance abuse counselor.
- The professional must have regular sessions with an addiction physician and 3 or more 12-step meetings a week and form a steady relationship with a "sponsor" to help advise them on recovery issues.
- Each professional is required to identify a work-site monitor.
- Each professional is required to work with their counselor to develop an on-going self plan to prevent relapse once their program has been completed.
